Herschel is a DSH and approx 8 years old with an admirable command of the verbal. He loves to be brushed. His food and water are in the spare room and the food is on a timer, so we lift up lid and make sure all sections have about half a cup of dry food in each. Herschel has hyperthyroidism and takes two pills daily, morning and night, snuck into a bit of wet food and hand fed to him. Be careful of balconey door in summer as he sometimes tries to dart out.
